Can I include special characters when I Import data into Procurify?

Question:

  • Are there any potential consequences of importing templates into Procurify with special character symbols?

Answer:

There shouldn't be any problems importing files with special characters.

However, in order for the import to accept some special characters, the import file may need to be a UTF-8 to import special characters. There can be issues with imports, mainly when the CSV file encoding isn't UTF-8. This is a common issue when files are created in Excel because it uses Windows-specific formats by default that don't work seamlessly with Procurify.
