They enable your team members to make necessary business purchases while adhering to pre-set spending limits. Because they're fully integrated with Procurify, every transaction is automatically tracked and recorded. This simplifies the reconciliation process, reduces manual effort, and provides immediate insights into your company's spending patterns.

In partnership with Airwallex, a leading global financial technology platform, Procurify provides both physical and virtual cards designed to meet all your business needs.

Procurify offers two types of spending cards to suit different purchasing scenarios:

For purchases requiring an in-person transaction, you can request a physical spending card through Procurify. Once approved by your manager, you'll receive a physical card that functions just like a standard credit or debit card for in-store purchases. All transactions made with your physical card are automatically recorded in your Procurify account, making it easy to track your spending and simplify expense reporting.

Virtual spending cards are ideal for online purchases and subscriptions. They provide an enhanced layer of security, as you can generate a unique card for specific vendors or individual purchases. This significantly minimizes the risk of fraud and streamlines the tracking and management of online expenditures. Similar to physical cards, virtual cards are requested and managed directly within your Procurify account, with all transactions automatically logged.

For international transactions conducted with your Procurify Spending Card, a Foreign Exchange (FX) conversion fee of 2.5% will be applied. This fee is embedded into the final transaction amount displayed in your home currency. This charge applies to transactions made in any currency other than US Dollars (USD) and covers the cost associated with currency conversion.

Are virtual cards easy to use? Yes, virtual cards are incredibly user-friendly. Once a virtual card is created in Procurify, the card number, expiry date, CVV, and PIN are immediately accessible to the cardholder for any online purchase.

Can I add my spending card to my Apple Wallet or Google Wallet? Absolutely! Both physical and virtual spending cards can be added to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, enabling convenient and secure contactless payments.

Do spending cards offer cashback? Cashback is currently only available to customers in the USA.

Can I use my spending card internationally? Yes, you can use your Procurify Spending Card for international purchases. Please keep in mind the 2.5% Foreign Exchange (FX) conversion fee for transactions not made in USD.

Is the money spent on my spending card included in my budgets in Procurify? Yes, all spend made using spending cards is captured within your Procurify budgets! However, please note that refunds are currently not reflected in budgets, which might lead to an overestimation of spend.

How do refunds work? Refunds on spending cards function identically to those on regular credit or debit cards. When a refund is processed, the amount will be credited back to the specific spending card on which the original purchase was made.

What is required to set up spending cards? To set up Procurify Spending Cards, your organization will need to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding process with our partner, Airwallex. This involves providing necessary business information and agreeing to their terms of service. Once approved, you can begin issuing cards to your team directly through Procurify.
