Goal:
Seeing a PO number without Procure permissions, or with limited permissions
Troubleshoot why a PO number may not be visible in Procurify
If your order has been placed on a purchase order, that information will be available in the Audit Log. However, note that PO information is only available if a PO was actually created.
Steps:
Using the left navigation menu, click Request → Order
Click on the applicable request.
Scroll down to the Audit Log.
There, you will be able to see when your request has been processed, including the purchase order number and the user who created the purchase order.
Why PO Numbers Might Not Be Available
There are specific scenarios in Procurify where a PO number will not appear:
Denied line items: If an order contains a denied line item, the PO number will not display on the order page. You can still locate it by checking the Audit Log or searching under Procure → Purchase Orders.
Orders denied at the request stage: If an order is denied before it reaches the purchasing stage, no PO is generated and no PO number will be visible.
Understanding these scenarios can help you quickly determine whether a PO exists and where to find it.
Additional Information
The steps above can only be completed by the user who placed the request.
Any user with access to the request for order can view the Audit Log.
