Customers using a US QuickBooks Online instance can utilize the QuickBooks Online Automated Sales Tax (AST) functionality.
Steps:
Go to Settings → Integrations → Quickbooks Online and use the toggle to indicate that you are NOT a US customer.
Go to Settings → Manage Tax Types and create a new tax type with the name ‘TAX’ and set its rate to
When creating a new bill, ensure the new tax type is added to each line item you want to utilize AST.
Additional Information:
Once the bill is successfully synced, the sales tax checkbox will be checked. You must have AST enabled in QuickBooks Online.
