Question:

  • Why am I missing some account codes when making a request?

  • Why can't my user see an account code?

  • Why can't my users see account codes?

  • Why can't I find a specific Account Code from the list?

This article refers to “Location” and “Department”. Your domain may have different labels due to custom organizational categories.

Answer:

If a specific Account Codes is not available for selection when you are adding items to an order request, check that:

  1. The account code is assigned to the applicable Location and Department. See: How to Assign an Account Code to a Department.

  2. The user is assigned to the applicable Location/Department.

Additional Information:

  • You must be a superuser or a user with customized access to Manage Chart of Accounts and Users to verify the above.
