Question:

  • Can I change the Location before I approve the Request?

  • The Requester made a mistake in the Department, how do I change it?

  • The location is wrong on a pending request

  • the department is wrong on a pending request

Due to customization, your interface text may differ. In this article, we are using the default labels Location and Department. Learn more here.


Answer:

When the order is pending, a requester or approver can only edit the account code on a request.

However, once the request is approved the location & department can only be changed in account code correction within settings. To make these changes please see: How to change order details after approval

Additional Information:

  • Only users with access to Settings can perform the steps listed.
