How to view NetSuite error logs for Purchase Orders

Updated over a week ago

Goal:

  • access the error resolution screen in Procurify and NetSuite

Viewing Error Logs in Procurify:

The following steps can only Superusers or users who have custom permissions access to Integration Settings.

  1. Navigate to Settings β†’ Integrations

  2. Select NetSuite for Purchase Orders

  3. Select View

  4. Select Filters

  5. From the Sync Status drop-down, select Error (if you know the type of record you are hoping to view errors for ie.PO, Account Code, Item Receipt or Vendor, you can set a Type filter as well)

This log tracks a full list of historic sync transactions and past errors are not cleared on future success. This means that a record that previously had a sync error may have a more recent sync success which would not display if the error filter is applied.

Viewing Error Logs in NetSuite:

  1. In NetSuite, from the top menu bar, hover over Procurify β†’ Configurations β†’ Error Resolution.

This log tracks active errors and provides additional context around the error messaging and the information sent to NetSuite. Additionally, you can trigger a re-sync attempt after making the necessary corrections in NetSuite or Procurify, or you can mark the error as resolved if alternate action was taken and you do not wish to try to re-sync the record in question.

Additional Information:

If you need to retry a sync that resulted in an error, first attempt to correct the error by making modifications in either Procurify or NetSuite that would resolve the error, then select the checkbox beside the desired error record in the NetSuite Error Resolution log and click the Retry Events button to re-sync that record.
