How to allow budgets to exceed, I want to approve a request that is over budget
What is Budget Overage?
When the allowed budget overage feature is enabled, order requests can be approved even if they exceed the budget.
When Enabled, attempting to approve an over-budget request will generate the following warning: There is insufficient budget to approve this order. Do you want to approve it anyway?
If the feature is disabled, approvers cannot approve requests that exceed applicable budgets.
To enable/disable budget overage:
Navigate to Settings → Manage Budgets
In the upper right, click Tools
and select Budget Settings
Check/Uncheck the Budget Overage checkbox.
Click Save Settings.
Additional Information:
Budgets apply to Requests for Order and Requests for Expense
The budget overage does not block requests from being created and submitted.
