Troubleshooting Email Notifications

Resolve issues with missing Procurify notifications by checking junk filters, verifying your email address, or allowlisting the Procurify domain.

Summary (TL;DR): Resolve issues with missing Procurify notifications by checking junk filters, verifying your email address, or allowlisting the Procurify domain.

The Issue

Users are not receiving expected email notifications, such as password resets, approval requests, or system alerts.

Potential Causes

  • Email Filtering: The email provider has diverted the message to a Spam or Junk folder.

  • Domain Blocking: Company-wide security settings are blocking the @procurify.com domain.

  • Implementation Status: Organizations currently in the implementation phase have notifications disabled until their domain goes live.

  • Incorrect Credentials: The email address entered does not exactly match the one registered in the Procurify account.

  • Security Protocol: For security reasons, Procurify does not confirm if an email address exists in the system unless it is linked to Single Sign-On (SSO) or is deactivated.

Resolution Steps

Follow these steps in order to identify and resolve the delivery issue.

1. Check Spam and Junk Folders

Wait at least five minutes for the email to process through the network. If the email is not in your inbox, check your Junk or Spam folder. If found, mark the message as Not Junk or Not Spam to prevent future filtering.

2. Add Procurify to your Contacts

Add [email protected] directly to your email contact list. This helps your email provider identify the sender as a trusted source and prevents the message from being blocked.

3. Verify the Registered Email Address

Confirm with your Superuser or Admin that your email address is spelled correctly in Settings > Manage Users. Ensure you are not using a personal email if your account is registered under a corporate domain.

4. Coordinate with your IT Department

If the first three steps do not resolve the issue, your company’s email server may be blocking the domain. Ask your IT Department to allowlist the @procurify.com domain and the specific address [email protected].

Escalation Path

If your IT Department confirms that no blocks are in place, navigate to the Procurify Help Center and select Contact Us. Provide the specific email address that is not receiving notifications so the Support Team can check for "bounce" errors in our mail server.
