Summary (TL;DR) A new order request experience is now available on the latest Procurify Plan. Requesters can enter items manually or pull them from a quote, bulk-edit or delete several line items at once, and save a draft before every detail is filled in.
This new experience runs alongside Classic Requesting, and both flows are fully supported. Requesters choose whichever one suits the order in front of them.
Note: Classic Requesting is fully available today. Procurify's goal is to offer a single order request experience, so we plan to retire Classic Requesting by the end of 2026. We'll give plenty of notice beforehand so your team has time to transition.
Who can use the new order request experience?
Only customers on the latest Procurify Plan have access to the new order request experience. Each person opts in individually, and no administrator setup is required to turn it on across a domain. Once you choose a version, Procurify remembers it and returns you there the next time you start an order request.

What can you do in the new order request experience?
The new experience offers a few capabilities that support order creation:

Bulk line item editing | Apply the same Vendor, Account Code, or custom field value to several selected line items in one action. |
Draft flexibility | Save a draft while some line item details are still missing, then finish it once you have a vendor quote or a confirmed Account Code. |
Quote extraction | Pull line items directly from an uploaded quote with quote extraction. |
How does the new order request experience work?
Creating an order request takes four steps:
On the order request creation page, click the button at the top right to open the new experience.
Add line items by hand or pull them from a quote. You can save the draft even if some details are still missing.
To change several line items at once, tick the checkbox on each one, then choose an option from the bulk edit bar at the top of the list.
Submit the order request.
The bulk edit bar gives you two options:

Edit details | Opens a slide-in panel for setting Vendor, Account Code, and any custom field values across every selected line item. Blank fields in the panel are left untouched — only the fields you fill in get applied. |
Delete | Removes all selected line items from the draft. |
How do I switch between the new and Classic experience?
A link inside the new experience takes you back to Classic Requesting whenever you want, and Procurify keeps you in whichever flow you chose last. The preference is set per user, not per domain. Drafts aren't shared between the two, so you can't start an order request in one and finish it in the other.
What's the difference between an Order Number and an Order ID?
The new order request experience introduces a user-facing identifier called the Order Number. Both identifiers below can appear in exports:

What isn't affected by the new order request experience?
The change is limited to how requesters create and submit new order requests. Approval workflows, post-submission editing, purchase order creation, and Bills all stay the same. The new experience is web only, so the Procurify mobile app continues to use the existing flow.
