Instead of digging through dashboards or waiting on reports, you can now just ask — and get instant, actionable answers. Spend Analyst leverages natural language processing to understand your questions about your organization's spending and provides real-time insights, often presented visually with charts and graphs. Key features include:
Natural Language Questions: Ask questions using everyday language.
Context-Aware Follow-ups: The system remembers the context of your previous questions for seamless follow-up analysis.
Real-Time Data: Access insights based on data refreshed twice daily.
Visual-First Responses: Understand patterns and trends quickly with automatically generated charts and graphs.
How to Use:
Navigate to Spend Analyst: Locate and click on the "Spend Analyst" button on any card in Spend Insights.
Ask Your Question: Type your spend-related question in the chat interface. Be clear and concise.
Example: “How much did we spend with Vendor X last quarter?”
Review the Response: Spend Analyst will provide an answer, often including a visual representation of the data.
Follow Up (Optional): To explore further, ask follow-up questions related to the initial response.
Example: After asking about Vendor X, ask: “Which locations had the highest spend?”
Reset Context (When Necessary): If you want to ask a question on a completely new topic, click the "Reset" button.
Provide Feedback: Use the ✅ / ❌ icons to indicate if the response was helpful or not. Your feedback helps us improve Spend Analyst.
