How to change a user's role

Goal:

  • Update or change the role of an existing user.

 

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Select Manage Users under the Setup & Manage.

  3. Type the user's name into the search field.

  4. Open the user's profile by clicking on the search result.

  5. Navigate to the Roles & Permissions tab on the user's profile page.

  6. Select Switch Role to change the user's role.

  7. Select the new role you would like to assign to this user.

  8. Select the Apply Role once done.

 

 

Additional Information:

  • Remember to assign the user's Location Access for each Permission within the new Role. See How to Adjust a User's Location Access for further info.
