Understanding Audit Logs in Procurify Approval Workflows
Audit logs are a critical component in approval workflows in Procurify, providing transparency and traceability for requisition and order approvals. This article explains how these logs function, their visibility timeline, and how users, including superusers, can access them for different scenarios.
Timing of Audit Log Visibility
Audit logs on a requisition become visible only after the first approval occurs. Before a requisition receives its initial approval, you can still review its visible attributes—such as department, account code, and selected custom fields—to understand which approval groups will be triggered based on your preconfigured routing rules.
Accessing Audit Logs for Pending Orders
For pending orders, users with superuser privileges can directly access audit logs, including any edits made to the order before it gains approval. As a superuser, you need to navigate to the 'Approve' section and set the "Viewing As" option to "All." From the Pending tab, select the desired order to view its audit log.
Superuser Accessibility and Permissions
Superusers hold the ability to oversee and manage the approval workflows of other users. This includes viewing audit logs even for orders that have not yet been approved, ensuring a higher level of transparency and oversight within the organization. The process for accessing these logs is simple and utilizes the intuitive navigation features within Procurify.
By understanding when and how to access the audit logs, users and superusers can effectively monitor and manage approval workflows, ensuring compliance and clarity in requisition and order management processes.
