How to Complete Your Cardholder Onboarding

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for new cardholders to register and verify their identity, enabling them to receive and use a Procurify Spending Card.

To ensure secure and compliant financial operations, all new Procurify Spending Card users must complete a brief onboarding and identity verification process. This guide will walk you through each step.


How You'll Be Notified

Once you are enabled as a cardholder by your administrator, Procurify will notify you through multiple channels to ensure you receive the invitation to begin the onboarding process:

  • Email: An invitation will be sent to your registered email address.

  • In-App Notification: A new task will appear in your notification center within the Procurify web platform.

  • Mobile Push Notification: If you have the Procurify mobile app installed, you will receive a push notification.

Clicking on any of these notifications will direct you to the start of the onboarding process.


Step-by-Step Onboarding Process

Step 1: Get Started with Onboarding

The initial screen you encounter will provide an overview of the information required to set up your spending card. This includes:

  • Your legal name, date of birth, and contact information.

  • Your consent to our Spending Card terms.

To proceed, click the Set up account button.


Step 2: Submit Your Personal Information

On the "Set up account" screen, you will be prompted to submit your personal details. Please accurately fill in the following fields:

  • Legal first name

  • Legal last name

  • Date of birth

  • Mobile Phone Number

Before submitting, you must review and agree to the terms of service for both Procurify and our partner, Airwallex.

Once all fields are completed and terms are accepted, click Submit for review.


Step 3: Verification in Progress

After your information has been submitted, your status will update to "Verification in progress." In most cases, this automated identity verification process is completed within a few moments.

If you need to make any corrections or updates to your personal information during this stage, you can do so by clicking the Edit details button.


What to Do If More Information is Required

In some instances, automatic identity verification may not be possible. If this occurs, you will receive a notification indicating that more information is needed to verify your account.

Your status will update to: "More information required." This will be accompanied by the explanation: "More information is required to verify your account. Click ‘continue setup’ to provide proof of identity.”

Upload Your Identification

To continue the verification process, you will need to upload clear front and back photos of your identification document.

  1. First, select the issuing country of your ID.

  2. Next, select a permitted document type from the dropdown list.

  3. Finally, accurately type in the document number.


Acceptable Forms of Identification

Please provide one of the following valid, unexpired documents based on the issuing country:

For US-Issued Documents:

  • Drivers License

  • US Passport

  • National identity card

  • Medicare card

  • Social security number (SSN) card

  • Individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN) card

For any other Issuing Country:

  • Passport

After successfully uploading your document, it will be reviewed to complete your registration. Once your identity is verified, you will be notified, and your administrator will then be able to issue your first Procurify Spending Card.
