[End of Internal Notes]

In early February, Amazon announced that they would be shutting down Amazon Smile services. Read their statement here.

Update March 20 2023:

Current Amazon Smile PunchOut customers will be transitioned to their respective Amazon Business USA or CA PunchOuts. Procurify is phasing out Amazon Smile Functionality through March/April 2023.
The migration process requires your site administrator to perform the following tasks:
  1. Determine the Amazon Business accounts associated with your current Amazon Smile PunchOut groups and the country for each (.com or .ca).
  2. Add “DISCONTINUED” or “DO NOT USE” in front of each group name.
  3. For each Smile group, create a new Amazon CA or USA group that is associated with the same Amazon Business account(s).
  4. Ask your teams/users to complete all current Amazon Smile request/orders and resume PunchOut operations using the new Amazon CA or USA groups when selected in the RFO Supplier Portal.
E.g. If you have 2 groups currently setup for Amazon Smile that both utilize an Amazon Business Canada account, create 2 new Amazon Canada PunchOut groups that utilize the same Amazon Business Canada account.
During the migration phase, Procurify will be performing the following updates:
  • Removing the ability for users to create new orders that are tied to Amazon Smile PunchOut groups
  • Removing the ability for site administrators to create new Amazon Smile PunchOut groups
  • Removing the ability for site administrators to edit existing Amazon Smile PunchOut groups
Note: Users will still have the ability to approve/finalize, edit, and view existing Amazon Smile PunchOut orders. The system will continue to send orders to Amazon PunchOut and receive order confirmations as expected.
