What are Granular Permissions and how to assign them

Goal:

  • Step by step guide on assigning Granular Permissions 

The following article outlines how to assign Granular permissions to users, this feature is available to all Procurify customers. 


Granular permissions provide users with the option to restrict and provide access to nearly all of Procurify. With granular permissions enabled, you can create a custom view for each user from Request to Receive, including the settings page. If you don't see this feature, please contact your Procurify representative to have it enabled on your domain. 

 

What are the Benefits?

  • Hide links to unused features such as Travel Requests or Spending Carts
  • Configure Settings Page and only allow access to certain settings 

 

What do I need to set up before I can use granular permissions in Procurify?

Granular permissions are available to all Procurify customers. If Granular Permissions are not available at your domain, please get in touch with a Procurify Representative.

 

What do I assign Granular Permissions to users?

Steps:

1. Navigate to Settings → Manage users

2. Select the users you want to apply the permissions to.

3. Click Roles & Permissions 

4. Click Edit Permissions to view the current user's permissions.

5. Use the drop down option to show granular permissions to be configured. Granular permissions can also be selected for the Settings panel by clicking on Settings.

11. Click Apply to save the changes.
