Why do some Bills not have a Bill ID?

Question:

  • When I export my Bills, some Bills don't have a Bill ID? 

 

Answer:

Bills in a Draft state are not assigned a Bill ID. When a Bill is submitted for Approval, a Bill ID will automatically be added to the Bill. 

Bills that are being Fixed and classified as Revised, will have a Bill ID assigned because they were previously in a pending approval state.
