We’re excited to announce that Procurify now offers a new direct integration with all QuickBooks Online tiers (for the QuickBooks Online USA products at this stage). This integration passes over bill data from Procurify to QuickBooks Online. To use the QuickBooks Online integration, you need to be creating bills with Procurify in our Accounts Payable module.
Already creating bills in Procurify?
Pay your invoices with confidence, and gain full context for all your business spending. Creating bills in Procurify means you’re matching invoices to Purchase Orders, received documents, and you can view the history of the PO back to it’s originating request, approval history, and see logs of all changes.
Integrate directly with Procurify to save time.
Instead of using a third-party tool or CSV exports, you can sync bills easily to QuickBooks Online directly from Procurify. When bills have been synced, Procurify’s bill fields are mapped into a QuickBooks Online bill. The following fields sync to QuickBooks: Vendor, Invoice Date, Due Date, Invoice Number, Bill Items, Account Code, Item Name, Allocated Costs, Attachments. In addition, you can also choose Procurify fields to sync to the Quickbooks Online Custom field areas such as Location, Project, Class, etc. It’s easy to set up and manage the integration from Procurify’s settings.
Our integration is simple. Connect and manage with no experts needed.
Connect Procurify to QuickBooks Online with ease. Simply go to Settings →Tools → Integrations. You’ll continue to QuickBooks Online and enter your account credentials and authorize the connection.
Sync attachments and gain full context in QuickBooks Online.
Procurify makes it simple to verify if invoices are ‘ok to pay’. Firstly, capture and sync all attachments over with your bills. We sync most file types directly to QuickBooks Online, including PDF documents and scanned images of original invoices. The file types you can sync over are PDF, JPEG, PNG, DOC, XLSX, CSV, TIFF, GIF, and XML. Secondly, data mapped to QuickBooks online will contain a Procurify link. Simply open to view the correct bill in Procurify with its full history back to the Purchase Order, request, approval history, and more.
Not currently creating bills in Procurify’s Accounts Payable module?
We understand that creating bills in Procurify is a process change. However, this change is crucial to gaining full context for the finance team’s invoice verification steps. Features from products like Bill. com (Inbox and OCR) can get invoices and bills into QuickBooks Online with speed. However, the problem is that this often means pushing more incorrect, unverified, and uncontrolled information into the accounting system, and faster.
When you create a bill in Procurify instead, you gain two very crucial things that change the accuracy of your accounting processes:
1. Control. Procurify offers optional bill approval routing flows. This ensures the right people have seen invoices before they are paid. Any bill created in Procurify is also connected right back to its original Purchase Order, request, and approval workflow. The finance team knows that this invoice is not fraudulent, and has been approved by the right people in their organization.
2. Context. The bill created in Procurify can have original attachments added, and is matched with its purchasing documentation, approval history, and full audit/changelogs. The finance team can find out everything they need to verify that an invoice is ‘OK to pay’.
