Why doesn't my line item currency match the currency on my order request?

Question:

  • I want my item currency and base currency to match

Answer:

The line item currency may not match the currency listed at the bottom of the order request. The currency total at the bottom of the order request will reflect the base currency. Items throughout the Procurify process will maintain their originally assigned item currency. There may be instances when you want alternate currencies. If you want the currencies to match, you must update either your base currency or your item currency. Even if a line item currency does not match the order request currency or base currency, the currencies will always impact the budget by the base currency.

Steps:  How to update your base currency

  1. Select the Settings tab, and click Manage Currency Rates
  2. Locate the active Currency you would like to be set as your base Currency, & click the options.png button
  3. Click Set As A Base Currency

  1. Select the Approval tab → Request/Travels/Expense.

  2. Find the request number and open it

  3. Select the  More_options.png  button across the item you need to update and Edit

  4. Change the currency as needed.

  5. Select Save
