Can some users use Single Sign-on and others use passwords?

Question:

  • If one User signs in using SSO, should everyone else be logging in using the same method?
  • Can a handful of users sign in by email address and some using SSO?

Answer:

Azure, OKTA and other SSO providers require that all users use SSO. Email/password login options will not be presented to users if SSO is enabled on your domain.

If your domain has SSO enabled, you will receive an error message if you attempt to login using your email address and password.
