Why can't I see Account Codes in a Request for Order?

Question:

  • Why am I missing some account codes when making a request?
  • Why can't my user see an account code?
  • Why can't my users see account codes?
  • Why can't I find a specific Account Code from the list?

Due to customization, your interface text may differ. In this article, we are using the default labels Location and Department. Learn more here.

Answer:

The following should be checked to ensure all account codes assigned work: 

A) Check if the account code is assigned to the Location and Department in question. You can check the steps from How to Assign an Account Code to a Department. 

B) Check to see if the user is assigned to the correct Location/Department that the Account Code is assigned to. 

 

Additional Information:

  • Only users with Settings access to Chart of Accounts and Manage Budget will be able to complete the following steps.
