- NetSuite inventory item sync
What is it?
The Netsuite to Procurify Inventory Catalog Sync allows NetSuite users to easily sync their NetSuite inventory items into Procurify’s product catalog. For the sync to work, the account must enable NetSuite bundle version 2.12.1. If you do not have this NetSuite bundle version, contact a Procurify representative to update your bundle before the sync can be established. Do not update your bundle without a Procurify representative.
Important: Procurify does not do inventory management.
If NetSuite bundle version 2.12.1 is enabled, these requirements must apply to each item before you set up the item sync to Procurify.
- The asset’s account code should already be synced to Procurify
- If a preferred vendor is selected on the item, this vendor should already have been synced to Procurify and set to Preferred.
Here are the default fields that sync to Procurify:
All other fields can be filled according to your needs inside NetSuite, but this information will not be synchronized with Procurify. It is not a two-way sync. Data only flows from NetSuite to Procurify. The first time you check that ‘Sync to Procurify’ checkbox if a Procurify Catalog Item with the same name doesn’t already exist in Procurify, the sync will create that catalog item in Procurify.
During that catalog item creation, the default currency of your Procurify domain will be assigned, and all departments will be assigned to the department tags. This only happens once, at the creation of the catalog item. The sync ignores these two fields since you may want to manage those in Procurify. The fields in red, the image, and the catalog toggle are not synced. These are fully managed, at all times, within Procurify. Custom Fields mapping is in testing; speak to your Procurify representative if you're interested.
