What do the Icons mean in the procurement page and purchase orders?

Question:

  • What are the icons on the Purchase orders?
  • What is the Star icon on a purchase order?
  • What is the Exclamation point on a purchase order? 
  • What is the Question mark on a purchase order?

 

Answer:

The three icons next to an item in a Procurement screen or in a Purchase Order can take on many meanings depending on how your company uses them. Ultimately it is completely up to you & your team how these Icons are used and their meanings.

 

Here are some examples of how these can be used in your domain:

mceclip3.pngCan be used to signal to others you are working on the Purchase Order and to not make any changes.

mceclip6.pngCan be used to signal to others you are waiting on other items or information to add to the Purchase Order before sending it off. Also is used to show edits are needed on the Purchase Order.
